Adsense Secrets: Getting More Clicks on Your Ads

More CTR (Click Thru Ratio) means more clicks on your Google Ads. But, is CTR all about position and colors of your ads? No! It's a lot more than that. CTR also depends upon the quality of traffic, relevancy of ads, and even the subject of your website. Let's get in detail:

Do you own a High CTR website?

Yes! CTR varies from Industry to industry too. It depends upon the keywords you are using to make your web page. It has been observed that more technical the topic is (but not necessarily) less CTR it will give you (for example Search Engine Optimization, Affiliate Network - exceptions are always there), but still works if the Ad content is well written.

However, this is only one condition; there are many undiscovered conditions that affect the CTR of keywords. At times, a particular season also has an effect on the performance of keywords. For example family of 'Turkey recipe' keyword is more active around November and December only and a quite sluggish rest of the year. It becomes really necessary to study the behavior of keywords before starting a massive website of Adsense around a topic.

Your Ad Position and Color: Old, but very effective

Google heat map helps improve the CTR (Clicks Thru Ratio) of your website by suggesting you the most converting areas for your Adsense Ads. You can have a glance at the Google's Survey that illustrates the ideal placements of ads on your web page.

Darker the area, better will be the performance of your ads. Your visitor tends to click on these darker areas more often than the other areas of the web page. Ads placed near rich content usually do well because users are focused on those areas of your web page. For example, on pages where users are typically focused on reading an article, ads placed directly below the concluding part of high quality content tend to perform well, as the visitors are left with no other choice except clicking the Ad block.

Get Targeted Traffic - The Most Essential Part

Traffic that is interested in your content (also called targeted traffic) is interested in your ads too. Thus, there is every likelihood that your ads will be clicked more frequently. Targeted traffic means more CTR, more earnings, and enhanced ad convertibility. On the other hand, the untargeted visitors are not interested either in your content or your ads, so keep your website's traffic targeted.

You can gather highly targeted traffic for your website by web promotion strategy and effective optimization of your web page structure. Effective web promotion strategy requires an appropriate Anchor text and more back links from relevant websites. And, to develop an effective web page structure, you have to optimize your Title Text, internal linking of your website, and most importantly your web content, in the best possible manner.

Choose the Right Anchor Text for Back Link Campaigns

Choosing the right anchor text for back links promotes your website to the traffic you exactly need from the search engines. Choose the Anchor text that directly speaks to your visitors and pulls the traffic that your web page requires. Targeted traffic results in increased CTR of ads. It helps promote your website to that segment of traffic, which is precisely searching for your content (or you can say the traffic that is most profitable to you). Targeting irrelevant keyword reduces your CTR by gathering the traffic which is not interested in your content or ads.

Wisely Choose the Title Text of Your Web Page

Title text of your webpage appears in the SERPs (Search Engine Result Pages) as the Title link to your web page. Therefore, it is the title Text that directly speaks to the surfer on SERPs (Search Engine Result Pages) about your content's theme. It acts like a Free Advertisement Link to your website. If your title text does not interest the surfer, you lose considerable amount of much-needed traffic. Figure out a Title text that directly communicates with your potential visitors, brings targeted traffic, and enhances the CTR of your AdSense Ads. Don't overdo your title text, and use less than ten keywords in your title text.

Help Google Detect the Theme of Your Web Page

There are many on-page and off-page elements that affect your ad relevancy. Better targeted ads increase both your CTR and EPC. Here is how to optimize your ads:

Meta Tags

If there is NO CONTENT on your web page, the Google Mediabot will consider the Meta Tags while displaying ads. Meta tags have a considerable affect on the relevancy of your ads. It is advised never to leave this space empty. Also, try to make it as easy as possible for Mediabot to understand the theme of your web page.

Title Text

Google Mediabot gives good weightage to the keywords used in the Title text, which in turn gets reflected in your ads. Choose effective keywords for your Title text. Even the order of words in a keyword can affect the ads that are appearing on your web page. So, choose your keywords wisely.

Headings

Google Mediabot gives importance to the Heading text enclosed in

Boost Relevancy Artificially - Use Google's Section Targeting

Now, you can enhance Ad relevancy by using Google's Section targeting. Using this technique you can advise Google mediabot about the areas of your content which should be considered or ignored while matching the Ads with your content.

Use Channels for Analyzing Your Ads' Performance

Try to relate your traffic logs with your CTR stats. You will get to know which Traffic source is giving you what CTR. This will help you recognize the traffic segment which is most converting for your website. Channels allow you to analyze your ads' performance, so that you can pin point the changes that your website needs to boost your AdSense income. There are two types of channels available - URL Channels and Custom Channels. You can use the URL channel to track your performance, without modifying your Ad code. Through URL channels, you can analyze the performance of individual page or a group of pages, based on the directory system of your website.

Custom channels can help you measure the performance of different Ad formats presented in your web pages. And, by pasting channel-specific ad code into your pages, you can track CTR, Impressions, number of clicks each individual ad format is generating, and compare its performance with other web pages.

Block Junk Websites and Competitor Websites from Showing Ads

There are many junk websites that might be displaying ads on your website. These websites steal the traffic from your website and recycle it on their own Adsense ad blocks. Recognize such websites and stick them in Adsense Competitive Ad filter. Also, you can block your competitor websites using this competitive filter.

This trick can sometimes double or triple your Adsense income, augment user experience, and makes look your Google ads more genuine. For more information about this tool, visit:

How to Avoid Having Your AdSense Accout Banned for Click Fraud

If you trawl through the AdSense message boards you can’t help but come across tales of woe from AdSense publishers that have had their account banned by Google.

Below is a list of ways people have been banned from AdSense and information on how to avoid it happening to you.

Don’t click on your own ads

The obvious one but still people do it. Google has the IP address of the computer/s that you’ve used to create and check your AdSense account. If it sees that this IP address clicks one of your ads you’re in trouble.

Don’t do it. It’s theft. Not from Google but from the AdWords advertisers.

If you want to go to a site advertised by one of your ads don’t click on it look at the URL of the advertising site at the bottom of the ad and type it into your browser.

If you click on one accidentally (which does happen) you’re probably be ok but it’s worth dropping a quick email to Google with an explanation and apology

Don’t log in to AdSense from a shared computer.

As I said above Google keeps a record of every machine IP address used to look at your account. If you check your stats on a machine then someone else clicks on your ads from the same machine Google sees this as click fraud. Worth bearing in mind when thinking of checking your stats from somewhere like an Internet Café.

Don’t log in to your AdSense account from work.

Apart from getting in trouble with the company that employs you there’s also a further real risk. Most companies use a proxy server to access the Internet. A proxy server with ONE IP ADDRESS. Therefore you checking your ads from work means this proxy IP address being recorded by Google as one that you use. Problem is if there are 1000 people in your company it is the same IP address for them too. Google can’t differentiate between you and the other 999 employees in your company. If one of these 999 clicks on one of your ads it’s ban time.

Don’t get into a ‘I’ll click your ads if you click mine’ agreement with another Webmaster.

As above Google will have your IP address and that of every AdSense publisher. If they see these IP addresses consistently clicking on each other ads it’s goodbye for both of you.

Don’t tell friends and family.

Telling friends and family about your money making websites can lead to problems. Even if you tell them not to click on your ads there’s always the chance that Auntie Maud will think it’s a good idea to make some extra money for her favourite nephew. 100 clicks later from the same visitor and your account is screaming ‘Click Fraud’.

Receiving clicks from illegal traffic

Check the AdSense TOS for sources of traffic that aren’t allowed by Google. These include methods like Traffic exchange, PTC advertising, Auto surf etc.

Do monitor your visitor and AdSense figures

Check your account at least once a day. If you see a massive spike coupled with a massive increase in Page CTR investigate using your visitor stats website. If you see it’s all come from the same IP address you could have been the victim of a malicious attack – inform Google via email and offer them access to your logs.

The Benefits of Link Building to Website Promotion

Search engine optimization seems to be becoming more and more difficult, with search engine algorithms becoming more complexed with what they require to be important. However, one thing for sure is that backlinks in particular are still one of the most effective search engine optimization techniques.

When you receive links to your website, search engines view this as a vote for your site. Now the value of this vote depends on a number of factors such as the number of outgoing links the page with your link on has, the number of incoming links the page has, and whether the site that contains your link is seen by the search engines as an "authority" site.

There are many contributing factors for your website to rank highly in SERP's, but one thing for sure is that you need to continually build the number and quality of links pointing to your site. This could be through a number of methods:

1) Reciprocal linking - you contact other webmasters to offer the opportunity to provide a link to their website for the same in return.

2) One-way linking - this can be from many methods. Write articles and submit to article directories, add a link in your sig in forums, post opinions on blogs with a link back to your site (providing that the site owner does not mind!), and link directories.

There is no doubt that one-way linking is more powerful than reciprocal linking by a long way. Also consider that reciprocal linking should be conducted with sites that are relevant to your own websites theme.

Link building using your chosen keyword is also important. For example, should you have a website that you would like to rank highly in search engines for the phrase "Dog Beds", then if possible have website owner's link to your site using the search term as the actual link to your site. This shows the search engines that your site is relevant to this keyword phrase, and will rank it highly should you receive many links like this. Merely gaining links to your site is not the ONLY optimization that you must do for your site, as mentioned earlier, but it is certainly a significant contributing factor in search results.

An important note to remember is to never link to "link farms". These are sites that contain hundreds upon hundreds of outgoing links on one page. Search engines do not tend to look upon them favorable, and in any case if your link is also on this "link farm" page, the benefit will be minimal due to the large number of other links taking a share of the value of links from the page.

There are many free article directories, and free link directories where it is possible to gain good quality links to your site. However, paying for a link from a link directory is often very rewarding. You may find that paid directories will guarantee the acceptance of your website within hours to a couple of days. This is compared to many free directories often taking months to review your submission, and may not even approve it in the end. There are some exceptions but the key is to find them. Another good point to remember is that many new link directories that are well setup will possibly have categories with very few websites currently accepted. This provides a great opportunity to submit your site to benefit from the page's link value to the fullest

The Importance of Directories and Text Links

The proper use of search engines is an extremely critical aspect of online marketing. The search engines are the initial way that prospective customers can locate your site. That's the reason link popularity is so necessary. If your customers can't find you, you’ll never see any sales

You may be asking yourself “What is so popular about links”? Well, the short answer to that question is “A lot”. The phrase "Link popularity" alludes to the ranking given to your web site by the search engines. It decides what position your page is given by the search engines when people search for certain keywords contained in your site. You’re probably asking “How do I make my link popular?”

Search engines are arbitrary. They give cachet and capital to web sites that have incoming links to their pages originating from complementary, high caliber sites. It's a very simple, but an extremely important blueprint. Google originated the blueprint, and now nearly all the other popular search engines apply it to give value to web pages in their indexes.

The more customarily your keywords are used, the more difficult it will be to attain good link popularity, but without accomplishing this task, it is virtually assured your web site will never rank very high on any of the search engines. Don't get discouraged. There are tried and proven strategies for gaining good link popularity using the most highly searched keywords.

There are some things you should be aware of. Most importantly, you should know that simply putting one of your links on a large number of web sites will not get your web site good link popularity. The fact of the matter is, doing this will have just the opposite effect. This is especially the case when it involves web sites that exist for nothing other than to post outgoing links. These websites are commonly referred to as “link-farms”. The more popular search engines will vigorously show bias against your web site if it is identified with a link farm, so stay far, far away from them!

Another important fact that you should be aware of is the quality of the web sites that are linking to your site. You should never encourage a link from a site you wouldn't want your visitors to see. You don’t want your web site to look like it’s cheap and aimless. Linking with web sites that are of low quality will weaken your web site’s link popularity, and it could possibly even destroy it.

The first step to improving your search engine rankings and achieving good link popularity is to get your site listed in one or more of the popular directories. Two of the better directories are Yahoo and the Open Directory Project. If you have a business related web site you’ll want to get listed in the Yahoo Directory. The Yahoo Directory charges three hundred dollars per year for a listing. That can be a lot of money for some, but it’s a good business investment. If your web site is not a business related site, the listing is free, however, it will take a lot of follow up and time to get listed. The Open Directory will give you a free listing regardless of what kind of web site you have. Unfortunately, “free” has its price. The price is “time”. It can take many months and many follow up inquiries before your site actually gets listed.

Your objective should be to get your web site listed at the highest level of the most appropriate category. In order to achieve that goal, you need to think things through. For example, if your site is in the business of shipping auto parts from a small town out in the boondocks, DON’T submit your listing request to “Auto Parts in the Boondocks”, that can be a fatal error. Think a little! Submit your web site to “Worldwide Auto Parts”. You will not only associate your web site with the big boys, but you’ll also get your web site listed in an International Directory

5 Worst Search Engine Optimization ( SEO ) Stratigies

1.What are Doorway Pages?

There are many SEO strategies still being used by webmasters that were discarded a long time ago. In many cases, these SEO strategies are ineffective and considered Spam which often has negative effect for rankings.

Doorway Pages are defined as “multiple web pages that are devoid of useful content but heavily optimized for search engine rankings. Each page is optimized for a variation of a keyword phrase or for completely different keyword targets. The essence of this concept was to fool the search engines into thinking that these pages were highly relevant and provide top rankings for them under their targeted phrase.

Once among the most popular methods of attaining multiple search engine placements, doorway pages were widely used until 2000 by many webmasters. Since then, Doorway pages have become the most obvious form of Spam that a search engine can find and penalize you. Please don’t go for such tactics.

2.Invisible Text

There are many SEO strategies still being used by webmasters that were discarded a long time ago. In many cases, these SEO strategies are ineffective and considered Spam which often has negative effect for rankings.

Invisible text is implemented in a variety of ways in an effort to increase the frequency of keywords in the body text of a web page. Some of the implementation methods are: making text the same color as the background of the web page, hiding text behind layers, placing text at the very bottom of over-sized pages, etc.

This tactic is perilously old and obvious to search engine spiders. It constantly amazes me when a web site utilizes these methods for placement. Invariably, placements are the last thing that a webmaster will get when using this tactic. Invisible text had its heyday from 1995 to 1999. This not to say that invisible text didn’t work after 1999 but the majority of web sites were not using it by this time as the search engines began implementing automated methods of detection and penalization. Please don’t go for such tactics.

3.Content Misrepresentation

There are many SEO strategies still being used by webmasters that were discarded a long time ago. In many cases, these SEO strategies are ineffective and considered Spam which often has negative effect for rankings.

Misleading search engines into believing your webpage is about topic ‘Apple’ when it is in fact about ‘Babies’. This tactic was used primarily for the promotion of adult, gambling, and other extremely competitive search markets.

Unfortunately this tactic is still in use; you are likely to find one or two every time you search! The fact is that this tactic is the simplest for a search engine to identify and the result will be swift and complete; banishment from the search engine index indefinitely. The worst offense in the realm of the search engines is to try to fool them. Please don’t go for such tactics.

4.Redirects

There are many SEO strategies still being used by webmasters that were discarded a long time ago. In many cases, these SEO strategies are ineffective and considered Spam which often has negative effect for rankings.

Redirects are also used to mislead search engines by making them believe that the page they have indexed is about ‘Apple’. When a surfer visits the page, however, they are redirected to an entirely different site about ‘Babies’.

In most cases search engines have advanced enough to see this technique a mile away. In fact they usually ignore any page with a redirect (assuming correctly that the content is useless) while crawling the redirect destination. Redirects, unless blatantly Spam-related do not directly result in intentional ranking penalties, however, they have no positive effect either. Please don’t go for such tactics.

5.Heading Tag Duplication

There are many SEO strategies still being used by webmasters that were discarded a long time ago. In many cases, these SEO strategies are ineffective and considered Spam which often has negative effect for rankings.

Definition: Heading Tags, by definition, were created to highlight page headings in order of importance. Thus the Heading Tags that are available: H1, H2, H3, etc. This duplication technique involves implementing more than one H1 tag into a webpage in order to enhance a particular keyword or phrase.

This tactic is still very prevalent and likely still works on some search engines; however, none of the major search engines will respond well to this technique as it has been identified as a common manipulation. Please don’t go for such tactics.

5 Reasons Many Adsense Sites Dont Make Money

With the huge success Google?s Adsense has been reaping, there are now
only a handful of sites you?ll see that doesn?t feature Adsense on
their sites. Everyone is hoping that they could make huge earnings
from this pay-per-click affiliate program scheme Google has launched.

While there are many success stories (they are true) of sites that
have generated good income from Adsense, there are still some sites
that couldn?t grasp the real way of making an earning from Adsense.

This is because many people have failed to generate the needed factors
to create a successful site that compliments the features Adsense
provides. Many webmasters just put up or create mediocre sites and
place Adsense on their site and just sits back and waits for the cash
to roll in.

If that is the mentality of a site owner, then he won't earn from
Adsense. Remember, a mediocre site will also get mediocre earnings.

To finally realize the Adsense dream, a webmaster must produce a site
that has the factors and characteristics needed to generate the
traffic and clicks it needs to be profitable. There are many things a
webmaster needs to do to achieve this and be one of the millions of
sites who have successfully done so. But there are so much more things
a site owner has failed to do to make their site more Adsense
friendly.

Here are five reasons why many Adsense sites don?t make money

1) There are no good keywords on the site.

Many sites have failed to do the very essence of search engine
optimization, Good Keywords. The internet has many websites competing
for the attention of the ?netizens? and many sites contain the same or
almost the same subjects, topics or niches. To date, Google is
searching at over three billion sites; good keywords can get you a
good lead above all the other sites.

It is essential that you research well on finding the good keywords
your site can use to generate the traffic and get a high ranking on
the search engines results. If many internet users are directed to
your site, you get a huge opportunity to get great traffic. With
traffic comes the profit.

In making money you must spend some. Invest in a good program that
searches good and proper keywords for your site. These keywords that
people are looking for changes and varies, a good keyword searcher is
an investment that just keeps on giving.

2) The site doesn?t provide a good niche.

To get the attention of the people, you must provide a site that can
perk up the interest of the people. Adsense works well if you maintain
a good number of traffic, you have to keep the people?s interest on
your site and have a group of people to keep coming back to your site
and have them recommend it.

You must also find a niche wherein these groups of people are
interested in. Find the right niche and you?ll find the right group of
people that are willing to spend some money.

3) The site owner doesn?t maintain or update their site.

You can only maintain the interest of a person for a short period of
time. Many websites have failed to keep up the traffic they generate
for their failure to keep their site updated. Immerse yourself in your
niche and try to find out what?s new and what?s hot.

You have to serve something new to the people or if not, try to keep
abreast with the developments of your niche or maybe add some sub-
niches on your site that still pertains to your niche to get new
traffic and keep the attention of your clients in your site.

4) Some website owners don?t provide the full attention to their
Adsense sites.

Many people just see their sites as a way to earn some extra money.
You have to treat Adsense sites as a full size business to make it
big. With the heavy competition you have, a good webmaster should
treat their site as if it is their main source of income but still
maintain a good schedule of their time.

5) Many webmasters have failed to devout time and research to their
Adsense site.

Many elements are needed to build a successful Adsense site. Good
keywords and the right niches can roll in the dough, but this takes
time and effort. It is imperative to devout a certain amount of time
in looking for ways to develop your Adsense site.

The internet is abound of sites that could help your own site. A
little time, money and hard work can spell the huge difference between
a successful Adsense site and a mediocre one.

External Optimization Tricks

External Optimization deals with the points you should remember while promoting your website over web, the external world. This part of optimization not only influences the ranking, but also influences the relevancy of ads. This part of optimization takes time, and your control over it is limited sometimes.

Anchor Text

Keywords in anchor text enhance the relevance of the target page with regard to the keywords used. Every page of your website should be made relevant through optimized anchor text containing important keywords, matching the theme of the website.

Try to make link partners link to you with the anchor text you specify (but please don't force them). The inclusion of important keywords in the anchor text can make a big difference in the final ranking as well as the relevance of ads on your website. All the important search engines give due importance to the anchor text (both on your website as well as on the external websites linking to your pages).

Also, it's a good idea to keep changing your Anchor text while the link development campaigns. Varied options of title and description make search engines give your website wider coverage. Again, you can choose the keywords to be used in the anchor text according to your choice (Traffic or payouts).

It is important to understand that as your Page Rank (PR) and resultant traffic increases, Google may increase your payouts. However, if you are getting highly untargeted traffic (or fraud traffic), your payouts automatically decrease with a period of time. This is because of the phenomenon called SMART PRICING. That is why Anchor Text is so important.

Getting Back Links

The number of incoming links to your website may not have direct impact over your Adsense ads relevancy. However, the anchor text with which your link partners are linking not only gets you direct traffic, but also promotes your website to certain segments of traffic surfing on search engines.

When you target wrong keywords, it attracts wrong segments of traffic. This decreases your CTR as well as the earnings you could have had from that traffic. You can say, it affects the relevancy of your ads. When the ads that Google broadcasts are not relevant to your traffic, the results are damp.

Promotion

To get the most relevant ads, it is important that the links that you are getting from other websites should have proper anchor text. Your article gets prominence on the search engine because of the relevant keyword used as anchor text. Even the links on your own pages should have relevant anchor text. This will help you get more target traffic and resultant higher revenue.

Other ways to promote your website include getting inward links from free or paid sources, and exchanging links from authority or important websites having good search engine ranking. Links placed at the top of the page get more importance, so try for that. There are many more things you can do to promote your website and earn more Adsense money.

How to Optimize Internal Web Pages for Maximum Adsense Revenue?

Internal Optimization means on-page optimization that you should take into consideration while writing your internal web pages. This is one thing you have complete control over. Besides, it has a major effect on the ads relevancy and CTR.

Meta Tags

Meta Keywords: They have low impact, BUT - they DO have impact over the ads relevancy. You are advised not to leave this part of your page as blank. Always try to make it as easy as possible for the crawlers to understand your website. Create your web page with Meta keywords. If there is NO CONTENT on your webpage, the Adsense Media bot will pick-up the Meta Tags, and show ads according to that. Search on Google for pages that top the SERPs for the keyword you have in mind. These websites will give you a good idea about what to include in Meta Tags.

Meta Description: Whatever you put in the description meta tag, it will appear as description right after the Title Text that links to your page in the SERPs (Search Engine Result Pages). This property of the description meta tag makes it quite important, as it has direct impact over the CTR of your link in the SERPs that leads to your website. It eventually decides how much traffic you will get from a search engine. Write description that attracts right kind of traffic from search engine pages.

Title Text

Search Engines give importance to the keywords that appear in the title tag of HTML Source code. Title has a good impact over relevancy of ads too. For higher payouts, choose the highest paying keyword of that category for the title text.

However, this entirely depends upon your optimization strategy. If you are more concerned about competition and getting more traffic than payouts, choose a keyword with low competition keyword (competition you can handle) with relatively higher traffic. Though, I will advise you to get more traffic first, and become authority page of that keyword. Payouts will increase with the traffic.

Tip: Title text generally appears in the SERPs as TITLE link to your page. In other words, you can say, this very line controls the CTR of your website link listed in SERPs. How you design your title is entirely your own decision.

If you are optimizing it for more traffic, you will not want your title to read as it was written for Search Engine crawlers. The title has to be concise so much so that even 10 words are considered as too many. If you are optimizing it for more payouts - Go ahead!

However, you can try to mix the high paying keywords with traffic attractor keywords too.

Give Headings

Its quite important to mark the main headline of your webpage with H1 tags and subheadings with H2 and H3 tags, and so on. This is because headings highlight and indicate the most important element of your web page - the actual content. It is important to use relevant keywords in headings and sub headings as these have good impact on rankings - especially when sorted by relevancy. This has an equally good impact on the ads appearing on your web page. Headings give prominence to the content on your web pages.

Again, you can use these headings either to optimize for traffic, fighting competition, or getting more payouts.

Embedding Keywords in the Content

Besides hosting useful and genuine content on your web pages, it’s important to include keywords at the beginning and end of an article. This helps search engines and Ad bots determine the theme of the web page. Good use of keywords help the Google Mediabot achieve higher Ad-relevancy for your website.

Some people follow a strategy of hosting less content on a web page. This helps focus ads on specific keywords and avoids dilution of ads by other keywords that you may have mentioned even once in the web content. This works when you are optimizing for Adsense, but has some traffic drawbacks too. Furthermore, Google may consider it as SPAM. Therefore, it's never advised to host 2 or 3 lines and expect good earnings. Chances are that you will be hit by smart pricing.

On the other hand, don’t make lengthy web pages as it might mislead Ad-bots to get some wrong ads, resulting in dilution of relevant ads. Sometimes, Ad bots can be very sticky to a certain keyword you used just for a reference. If you are getting irrelevant ads, changing meta tags and Title text is the first thing to start with, then move on to your content.

Internal Linking

Internal linking of web pages has traffic as well as Adsense importance. As all your link partners may not link all the pages of your website, it's the responsibility of your web pages to hyperlink your other pages, and define the crawlers what your pages are about. In the context of Adsense, suggesting related links (related articles) to the visitor will also increase the page views of your website and also the chances of the visitors clicking on the high paying ads.

A website must interlink its pages. This can be done by displaying related articles or linking to pages with proper anchor text. This helps increase the importance of most web pages. Even a simple navigation bar can achieve that purpose.

Increasing Penetration

Write articles with more heading and subheadings. This not only makes your content more readable and user friendly, but also help the Ad Bots (and Crawlers too) to properly recognize the theme of your web page. This will make them serve you the most relevant ads. This trick also gives you another chance to mention more of those keywords in your web page. Try to include as many instances where you can specify keywords to the bots. This will have impact on your CTR and EPC. It will also help you get the target traffic. Target traffic will mean more CTR of your web page and better performance.
